Step 1
In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of bread flour, 1 tbsp of dry yeast, 1 tbsp of sugar, and a pinch of salt. Gradually add 1 cup of warm milk to the dry ingredients, mixing well until it forms a dough. The dough should be smooth and elastic. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the dough rest for 45-60 minutes. This allows the dough to rise and become lighter.
Step 2
After the resting period, roll out the dough on a clean surface and cut it into circles using any round-shaped lid or cutter. Cover the cut-out dough circles and let them rest for another 10 minutes. This will help them relax and become more pliable.
Step 3
Preheat your air fryer to 200 degrees Celsius. Place the dough circles in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook them in batches. Cook the Kuboos for 6 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius, flipping them after 3 minutes to ensure even heating on all sides. The Kuboos should become golden brown and puffed up.
Step 4
Once they are cooked, remove the Kuboos from the air fryer. Serve the freshly baked Kuboos with your favourite dips or use them to scoop up delicious curries and dishes.
